Somalia Parliament Swears in New MP as Speaker Aadan Madoobe Chairs Extraordinary Committee Meeting

The Speaker of Somalia’s Lower House, Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur, chaired an extraordinary session of the Standing Committee in Mogadishu, where a newly elected member of parliament was officially sworn in.

The meeting took place at Villa Hargeisa, the headquarters of Somalia’s federal parliament in Mogadishu.

New Lawmaker Officially Sworn In

During the session, Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan Nuux, Clerk of the House, administered the oath of office to Abdiqadir Mohamed Nur, who recently secured a seat in the Federal Parliament.

The swearing-in marks his formal entry into the 11th Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
